This film was made to accompany the Listen to this story! exhibition created by Seven Stories National Centre for Children’s Books and Newcastle University about children book and Black Britain. Working with Rufaro Faith Mazarura, we created this animation exploring the themes of the exhibition, and her own experience of growing up reading.
